Fortunately, there is a way to “cheat” WhatsApp compression when sending photos, without having to download third-party applications or use a different communication platform.

The method of sending photos in original quality to one or more contacts consists mainly of changing the extension of the image itself. As you know, WhatsApp supports sending documents that are sent without any compression.

The trick itself is not very complicated, we will present it in a few steps that anyone can easily repeat on their phone:

1. Use any file manager and search in the smartphone’s folders for the   image you want to send.

2. Edit the photo name by changing the file extension to .doc (change the file name and append .doc to the end).

3. Send the “camouflaged” document via WhatsApp.

4. Your contact will have to do the opposite: download the file, open the file manager and change the extension to .jpg (in the same way as described above).

Of course, there are many other third-party options that allow you to share the link to the original file via WhatsApp Dropbox ,  Evernote , Google  Photos ), but if you do not want to install new applications, the above method is a simple way to work around this problem.
